Restaurant General Manager is needed.
A General Manager will uphold the quality of food, beverage and service and work in cooperation with the culinary team to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who is passionate about food and service. We are searching for energetic candidates who are both comfortable in a fast-paced environment and determined to provide guests with an excellent dining experience.
This position requires availability on weekends and holidays.
Key Focus
- Oversee food and beverage operations to ensure quality of service, food, and beverage.
- Lead and manage Front of House team to uphold the standards of service.
- Ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience as well as build guest relationship for repeat guests.
- Serve as a role model and set a positive example in all aspects of the business.
Personnel Management
- Accomplish human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining hourly team.
- Develop and mentor team through clear communication, constructive feedback, and performance reviews.
- Create an environment for the team that align with the company culture through constant communication and reinforcement in order to increase staff retention.
- Serve as a role model and set a positive example in all aspects of the business.
- Motivate employees and utilize leadership skills through ongoing culinary, beverage, and service training and development.
- Provide direction, instruction, and education to all Front of House team.
Guest Service
- Ensure all guests consistently receive courteous and efficient service from all team members.
- Respond positively and promptly to customer concerns and complaints.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating and auditing food, beverage and service offerings to initiate improvements.
- Build and develop relationships with repeat guests.
Service Standards
- Act as part of the team to maintain the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant.
- Know and follow all Department of Health (DOH) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Service Standards
- Ensure excellent service is provided for all guests at all time
- Drive service standards for Front of House positions and provide continuous support to all service staff and actively participate in services as needed
- Work with Front and Back of House management to engage and educate all staff
- Ensure excellent maintenance and cleanliness of the dining room at all times
- Maintain effective systems of communication between all member of the restaurant staff
- Properly open and close physical operation
Personnel Administration
- Recruitment, training and scheduling of Front of House staff
- Ensure restaurant is staffed effectively to execute all service standards
- Ensure all proper operating standards are met and is a leader on food safety and labor compliance
Key Requirements:
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- At least 2 years' management experience in hospitality & fine dining
- Full availability - nights, weekends, holidays
- Ability to foster the education of FOH staff
- Ensure DOL and Department of Health compliance
- Food, wine, and spirits knowledge
- Ability to multitask, problem solving & delegation
