Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and specifications.
Ensure food is presented in a visually appealing and timely manner.
Set up, stock, and maintain assigned workstations before and during shifts.
Follow proper portion control and food preparation techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workstations.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and storage.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the Kitchen Manager or Chef.
Assist in daily cleaning and deep-cleaning tasks as required.
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and practices.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes consistently.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A team player with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification is a plus).
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
