We are looking for an experienced bartender/server for the The Dabney Cellar.
"The Cellar," as it is affectionately known, opened in 2017 as a casual wine bar offspring by the Michelin starred restaurant The Dabney and its award winning cocktail program. "The Cellar" is our hidden and intimate English basement space that serves a wide variety of wines by the glass, specialty cocktails, oysters, country hams and other various mid-Atlantic driven food preparations
Recognized by Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, the James Beard Foundation, and awarded 1 star by Michelin, The Dabney is looking for a server/bartender to extend the warm and knowledgable service that is offered in the main dining room into our more casual wine & cocktail bar located in the basement of the restaurant.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a serving/bartending role
- Enthusiasm for hospitality
- A positive attitude towards fellow employees and a love for working in a team environment
- Wine, spirits and food knowledge and a desire to learn
- A personal interest in quality, regional, and sustainable food and sourcing
- Flexible schedule
Our service style is guest focused and warm. We're looking for a bartender/server that embodies our vision of a food and beverage experience that's refined but unpretentious. Detail oriented but welcoming.

The Dabney and "The Cellar" are closed for the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and The New Year. The Cellar is additionally always closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday offering a nicely structured schedule for employees.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($10.00) plus tips
