The highly-touted South Korean hospitality company known as Glow Seoul makes another impact in the tri-state area with a traditional Korean-style café known as Cheong Su; opened now in Fort Lee, NJ and is looking for the most spectacular Barista!

Job Description:

As a Barista at Cheong Su, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee drinks, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive team environment. You will engage with customers, handle cash and payments, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, and specialty drinks to customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and customer seating areas.
• Accurately process orders and handle cash and card payments.
• Educate customers about the menu, recommend beverages, and offer upsells.
• Assist in opening and closing the cafe, ensuring the space is clean and stocked.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred (but not required).
• Passion for coffee and a strong desire to learn more about coffee brewing techniques and espresso-based drinks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality drinks.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
