Cantina Los Caballitos is a lively Mexican restaurant & bar located in the heart of East Passyunk in south Philadelphia. In the spring & summer, we transform from a comfortable neighborhood taco joint into a destination for margaritas & al fresco dining on our lush patio.
Our Runner position is a hybrid food runner/barback. Responsibilities include:
- Stocking the bar with ice, garnishes, beer, glassware, etc
- Assisting the servers with bussing & resetting tables
- Communicating & working closely with the rest of the FOH team
- Following recipes for prepping bar mixes & batched cocktails
- Changing beer & cocktail kegs
- Putting away liquor & beer orders (must be able to lift at least 35 pounds)
- Running food to tables
- Accurately packing to-go orders
Qualified applicants for this position must have:
- Prior experience in the restaurant industry
- Availability to work weekends & closing shifts (we are open until 2am every day)
- Positive attitude & friendly demeanor
- Ability to work well with a team
- Strong organizational skills under pressure
- Attention to detail
