Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated servers to join our team. As a server at Lucky Star, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for offering knowledgeable recommendations, ensuring timely service, and creating a friendly environment that reflects our restaurant's passion for Japanese culture and culinary excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
-Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink offerings, including our unique elevated, yet playful cocktails and Taiwanese bites.
- Take orders accurately and ensure they are communicated effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to presentation and timeliness.
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with a positive attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Uphold knowledge of current menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods pertinent to the cuisine and cocktails.
- Process payments and manage the cash in accordance with restaurant policies.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to remain knowledgeable of menu changes and service techniques.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Japanese and Taiwanese cuisine and cocktail culture is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
