The Staley is your neighborhood sports bar, in South Loop, from NFL legend Israel Idonije. 

Our mission is to bring the energy and warm hospitality to a sports bar experience that marries athleticism and atmosphere in the heart of the Windy City. At The Staley, we are committed to redefining the sports bar scene by offering an inviting environment that caters to die-hard sports enthusiasts and casual fun fans. Our establishment aims to be a haven where the energy of the game meets the artistry of hospitality.



Responsibilities include: 

  • Working under the direction of the chefs and completing assigned tasks daily.
  • Ability to teach and run all stations with precision and consistency
  • Daily inventory and ordering
  • Auditing all kitchen areas and staff for compliance with health code
  • Assisting CDC staff training and further education
  • Assisting CDC with staff scheduling
  • Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment. You are the benchmark for the hourly staff. They should look up to you and want your position. 
  • Work under the guidance of our CDC, Executive Chef, and Signature leadership
  • Comply with all health department requirements of food safety and staff hygiene including but not exclusive to labeling, time, and temperature.
  • Actively participates in the positive relationship between FOH and BOH teams by maintaining a steady stream of communication with all staff.
  • Follows safety and emergency procedures to protect staff, guests, and property.
  • Maintains thorough understanding of industry and stays abreast of industry trends.
  • Demonstrates courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with our guests and fellow team members to create a whole house team. 
  • Maintain a very flexible schedule, especially during the convention season. 
  • Performing other work duties as assigned
