Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and hospitable attitude
- Control the flow of reservations and walk-ins
- Have experience with reservation applications
- Uphold service standards, product quality, and cleanliness
- Gather feedback from guests and address their concerns or suggestions.
- Report feedback to restaurant management for continuous improvement.
- Assist in the updating of all printed menu materials
- Facilitate guest communication to ensure a positive dining experience
- Assist in running food as needed
- Assist in running beverages as needed
- Interact with guests, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Handle reservations, special requests, and seating arrangements effectively.
- Gather feedback from guests and address their concerns or suggestions.
- Report feedback to restaurant management for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a high volume, upscale to fine dining restaurant
- Valid Food Handler’s Certification
- Experience with Toast & Resy strongly preferred
- A collaborative and positive attitude
- A demonstrated desire to learn, grow, and invest in skill development
- A demonstrated talent for communication, organization, and empathetic communication
- A demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure while pursuing effective conflict resolution
- A demonstrated ability to integrate guidance in an effective and positive manner
Physical Demands
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 6 to 12 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
