Highly-acclaimed Marea, from famed hospitality firm Altamarea Group and located in Central Park South, is looking for an energetic & passionate reservationist / office assistant to join the team. We are looking for a reservationist to join the team! The Reservationist is responsible for managing the restaurant’s reservations, ensuring a smooth and efficient reservation process, and delivering excellent customer service to all guests. This role involves handling phone and online reservations, managing seating arrangements, and collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide a seamless dining experience.
This is a part-time position ONLY
Reservationist Responsibilities include:
- Handle a high volume of phone calls and make reservations using the protocols of the restaurant
- Answer queries and communicate with guests via email in a professional manner
- Recognize VIPs and build relationships with the restaurant’s clientele
- Maintaining and updating the restaurant’s CRM system
- Light administrative work
- Edit and publish all menus
- Communicate effectively across all facets and departments
Reservationist Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a high-volume environment
- Candidate should demonstrate an energetic and friendly personality
- Professional writing skills
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Seven rooms a plus
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs, must have evening and weekend availability

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $23.00)
