Buzz Bakeshop in Alexandria is Looking for a Talented Cafe Manager to Join the Team!!!

Buzz Bakeshop has served community guests, restaurants, and wholesale clients in the region for nearly 20 years! We are looking for a hospitality focused Front of the House Cafe Manager who loves people and wants to make every guest who walks through our doors feel welcome.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Competitive candidates will have experience with bakery and coffee shops with lots of moving parts! They will take pride in presenting products produced with great ingredients and lots of care, and they'll be great leader for the small but mighty crew they will oversee in the front of house. Our ideal candidate is excited about working in a fast-paced business that feels like a second home to many in our community.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• FOH manager who leads service by example
• Lead training and uphold standards
• Coaching and counseling of staff as needed
• Develop training materials
• FOH Scheduling
• FOH Supply Ordering
• Coffee / tea orders
• Maintains uniform standards
• Guest recovery / relationship building
• Online review response
• Owning and building wholesale
• Catering
• Social Media
• FOH R&M and cleaning
• Ensure all guest facing displays are presentable

The ideal candidate will possess many of the following qualifications:

• Experience with staff training
• Management experience
• Food service management skills
• Supervising experience in a hospitality setting
• Working in an active kitchen environment
• Team management skills
• Interviewing experience
• Food preparation knowledge
• Cooking skills
• Inventory control experience
• TOAST POS familiarity
• Casual dining or banquet experience preferred
• Barista experience advantageous
• Assistant manager experience beneficial
