Mattina Restaurant in Lower Pacific Heights located on Bush Street is hiring an Lead Line Cook.

At Mattina we offer a a la carte menu that focuses on the best regional, seasonal and artisan made ingredients, many of them Californian in origin. Our kitchen focuses utilization and respect for those carefully sourced ingredients. We have an in house pasta and butchery program, cook over our charcoal hearth and in our brick oven. The food is simple, with high quality products and focus on executuion and techniques.

Prior experience in similar kitchens is preferred but we are also willing to train the right candidates.

All staff are trained on multiple stations over time.

The wine list is Italian focused with selections from California and a few favorites to round out. There is a heavy focus on wines by the glass and afternoon 'Apertivo' with Vermouth 'spritzes' that come with light snacks.
