Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage all aspects of the restaurant to ensure customer satisfaction, financial success, and a cohesive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, motivate, and train staff to provide exceptional customer service and adhere to restaurant policies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve revenue, efficiency, and profitability.
- Handle budgets, payroll, and financial reporting to ensure cost control and meet financial targets.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Respond promptly to customer feedback and resolve complaints effectively.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to optimize menu offerings, promotions, and events.
- Inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and personal growth.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar leadership role.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, financial performance metrics, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and basic accounting principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or hospitality management is preferred.
