Barista

Good Thanks Cafe is looking for a part time top quality Barista to join the team.

We have open a part time position that will require weekend work and 1-2 other days. 

We are a generally high volume cafe, with weekend brunch services being especially busy, so we are looking for a very capable barista to be preparing a full days service of espresso-based drinks, soft beverages and cocktails.  A strong level of experience in a similar role and some other bar knowledge would be preferred but not essential. Baristas are in charge of handling to-go counter and bar service, so friendly, professional customer service experience is necessary.

Required skills:
- dialing in Linea PB espresso machine
- Preparing drip coffee (using EK43 grinder and Fetco brewer)
- Opening and/or closing the bar and barista station
- Strong level of milk steaming and pouring, latte art skills

We offer $10/hr and tips usually bring this to about $35-45/hr. Shifts are 7-9 hours long.
