Hospitality HQ seeks a Sommelier for our newest restaurant Wayward Fare!

We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team as a Sommelier. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist guests with wine selections considering their taste and budget
• Explain how our wine list compliments the items on our food and dessert menu
• Ensure all wines are presented and served correctly adhering to company standards
• Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests
• Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials
• Follow and adhere to all standards set for by the Department of Health (DOH) and appropriate Federal/State Liquor Control Boards
• Perform all other duties as instructed by management

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sommelier in a restaurant
• Above average knowledge of wine and spirits
• Availability to work nights, weekends & holidays
• Positive attitude and a ‘guest-first’ mindset
• Constant sense of urgency and ‘can do’ mentality’
• Focus, attention to detail, and friendly tableside manner  
• Communicates and works well within a team
