Meet Sorella, a spirited and soulful new Italian restaurant from the team behind Acquerello. Grounded in tradition but contemporary in style, Sorella is a convivial restaurant and bar from a group of deeply passionate hospitality professionals that value warmth and gracious hospitality.
With a dynamic kitchen led by our esteemed Executive Chef Suzette Gresham and an innovative cocktail program highlighting many of the unique spirits of Italy. Located at the crest of Polk, Sorella incorporates the history and legacy of Italy into a vibrant, modern-day bar and restaurant with a familial feel. Our restaurant’s motto: sei come una sorella per me (you are like a sister to me).
We are currently looking for a part time Server and Host.
We want to fill out our family with:
- Outgoing hospitality driven individuals, with genuine warmth and enthusiasm
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- No job is too small attitude
- Comfortable with guest interaction in a fast-paced service
- Comprehensive food and wine knowledge or a yearning to learn
- Ability to adhere to a flexible schedule, work nights and weekends
- Individuals with a team first mentality
- Able to guide a guest through our menu with language and phrasing they might not be familiar with
- Create an experience for our guests to keep them talking about us for years to come
- Always willing to put their best foot forward and take ownership of their mistakes
- Creative, passionate, and a desire for continued education in the industry
- TOAST POS experience preferred
- Team player and communicative with co-workers
- Knowledge in classic/fundamental cocktails
- Knowledge in various spirit and liqueur categories and understanding of amaro is a plus
- Experience working in fast-paced cocktail bar environments
- Responsible and takes on a leadership role.
