Located at the North Side of the rink, the restaurant has become an essential part of Midtown’s new “town square” with its focused menu of antipasti and pasta, aperitivo and wines, and King’s signature warm hospitality.

We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated, hard-working chefs to join our dynamic, joyful kitchen team. If you are interested in learning new sections, techniques, and a revolving selection of seasonal Italian dishes, we are interested in investing in your growth!
What you’ll do:
- As a colds line cook, you'll manage a vast and diverse section spanning traditional Italian desserts to seasonal salads to fritto misto. This is the best place to start as a cook at Jupiter to build a strong core foundation in our style of cookery. Plus, you'll be stationed at the forefront of our classic open kitchen in a brand new restaurant in NY's famous Rockefeller Center. Especially exciting when the famous Christmas tree goes up in November!
- Learn how to plate pastries, perfectly season salads, safely handle a deep fat fryer, and how to balance volume with high quality output.
- Collaborate with other chefs and managers on ergonomics, prep, set-up/break-down, and inventory. We are always interested in learning from your experiences and teaching you our best practices.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our menu and the culinary traditions that inspire us.
- Participate in ongoing training, education and tasting.

Who you are:
- You are passionate about Italian food! Making it, learning about it, and eating it!
- You are a team player with clear communication and follow through
- You have attention to detail and initiative to problem solve as needed
- You are able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- You are able to communicate in English, through written and verbal communications
- You are able to lift 50+ pounds
- You are available on nights, weekends and holidays, as needed

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
