The Kitchen Lead / Sous Chef is like the right-hand person in the kitchen, working directly with the Head Chef and Culinary Director to make sure everything runs smoothly. You'll be in charge of helping plan and create new dishes, making sure the food is cooked perfectly, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. This position plays a vital role in upholding Odie B's reputation for exceptional food and service.

Responsibilities:

  • Fun, must have fun
  • Help the Head Chef come up with new, fun and exciting menu items
  • Running creative specials
  • Make sure all the dishes are cooked to perfection
  • Lead the kitchen staff and make sure they're doing their jobs well
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized so that it's a safe and efficient place to work
  • Train new kitchen staff and help them learn the ropes
  • Keep track of inventory and order new supplies when needed
  • Make sure all the food safety and sanitation standards are being followed
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest culinary trends so that you can bring new ideas to the kitchen

Qualifications:

  • MUST BE CREATIVE AND FUN
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in a professional kitchen
  • Strong cooking skills and knowledge of different cooking techniques
  • Great leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle stress and multitask
  • Passion for creating delicious food
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • BOH administration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
