Interlude Coffee & Tea is a cafe located in TriBeCa that serves specialty coffee, matcha, tea, and in-house baked pastries. We're looking to bring on another member to our growing team!
We place the utmost importance on customer service and consistency in quality, which requires all team members to pay close attention to detail at all times. Employees are expected to go above and beyond to ensure that every customer has the best cafe experience possible.
Employees will be asked to take on a variety of tasks in order to keep the cafe running at its peak condition. Tasks will mostly revolve around cleaning and keeping the cafe organized. You will be working in a high intensity and fast paced work environment. Applicants must have the fortitude to be able to handle stressful situations with grace, speed, and a smile.
Although this is an entry level position, there is a lot of potential for advancement into other positions. We are specifically looking for people that can make a long-term commitment to grow with the company. Previous experience in the specialty coffee industry is not necessary. We welcome anyone dedicated to learning a new craft with a passion for customer service.
This is a full time position that requires a flexible schedule and a minimum availability of 35 to 40 hours spread across 5 days per week. Shifts are usually 7 to 10 hours and can start as early as 6:30am and end as late as 6pm. Eligible candidates must be able to maintain this full-time scheduling for an extended period of time.
