RESPONSIBILITY AND SPAN OF AUTHORITY:
- Ensure that all baked products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, preparation and serving standards.
- Responsible for the efficient, consistent, accurate and organized production of mis en place requested by Executive pastry chef and Chef de Cuisine.
- Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure their timely completion.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment. Keep all service stations/areas clean and organized at all times.
- Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products prepared.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years of commercial bread baking experience
- One year experience working in a similar restaurant concept (preferred)
- Experience in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching and development of a team.
- Experience with inventories
- Food Handler’s certification
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to work every day of the week including holidays
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
- Must be able to work in a stationary position for 8 hours (excluding breaks) at a time
- Must be able to move 50 pounds at time
- Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00)
