RESPONSIBILITY AND SPAN OF AUTHORITY:

  1. Ensure that all baked products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, preparation and serving standards.
  2. Responsible for the efficient, consistent, accurate and organized production of mis en place requested by Executive pastry chef and Chef de Cuisine.
  3. Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure their timely completion.
  4. Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment. Keep all service stations/areas clean and organized at all times.
  5. Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products prepared.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two years of commercial bread baking experience
  • One year experience working in a similar restaurant concept (preferred)
  • Experience in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching and development of a team.
  • Experience with inventories
  • Food Handler’s certification

 OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Availability to work every day of the week including holidays
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
  • Must be able to work in a stationary position for 8 hours (excluding breaks) at a time
  • Must be able to move 50 pounds at time
  • Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00)
