Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Front Desk Manager to lead their front desk team in creating memorable first and lasting impressions for our guests. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a commitment to exceptional service and the ability to manage a team dedicated to guest satisfaction, efficiency, and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes and an exemplary guest experience.
• Manage and mentor the front desk team, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, reservations, concierge) to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and promptness, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and health and safety protocols.
• Monitor front desk metrics (occupancy, average room rate, guest satisfaction scores) and recommend strategies to enhance performance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming front desk area to reflect the hotel’s luxury standards.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of front desk experience, with at least 1-2 years in a management or supervisory role in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and hotel property management systems (e.g., Opera, OnQ).
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
