After being closed for nearly four years, the dream of Somni is coming back to life! To ensure that his guests receive an exceptional dining experience, Chef Aitor Zabala is seeking a few individuals to join the team as PM Dishwashers.

This Dishwasher position will play a crucial role in the restaurant and will focus on maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant by mainting the cleanliness of the dish area and cleaning pots, pans, high-end china and glassware.

• Maintains kitchen area cleanliness, including floors, walls, and shelves.
• Assists with deliveries, storage, organization, and product rotation.
• Arrives on time, prepared, and attends all shifts and required meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, including timely assistance and phone handling.
• Maximizes sales through effective prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensures a clean, safe environment and maintains equipment standards.
• Completes opening, mid, and closing duties; monitors signage and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and performs additional tasks as assigned.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes, kitchen tools, and surfaces.

Qualifications  

• Great interpersonal and communication skills 
• Flexibility and initiative 
• Creative problem-solving and critical decision-making skills 
• Valid Manager or Food Handler Certificate. 
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures. 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to speak and hear, vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 
• Constant standing with some walking 
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). 
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds. 
• Be able to climb stairs and ladders or step stools 
• Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills 
• Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates. 

• Work both in indoor and outdoor (patio) settings
