Job Title: Sous Chef

For casual French and Moroccan restaurant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production, and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in menu planning, inventory management, and maintaining food safety standards.

We are also looking for someone that will overlook the development of our brunch.

Duties:
- Plan and execute menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
- Manage inventory levels and control costs effectively
- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new dishes and recipes
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to enhance performance
- Work closely with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of hospitality and restaurant management practices
- Proficiency in menu planning and food costing
- Excellent understanding of food safety protocols
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
