This is a culinary role with Tusk Events, our off-site catering program. 

Situated in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk own and operate Quince & Co Hospitality; a collection of unique restaurant concepts ranging from a Three Starred Michelin flagship to more casual, volume-based concepts, all unified in a commitment to exemplary hospitality, creativity, and a desire to innovate and continually reinvent. As an Event CDP you are responsible for the daily mise-en-place, managing and executing a station during service, and practicing proper food storage and handling and completing  prep lists as needed for the day to day operations supporting our offsite events program. These tasks should be completed in a timely manner and should reflect the quality standards of the kitchen.  

  • Prepare food following the standard procedures of the kitchen
  • Follow all clock-in/clock-out rules, including those mandating meal breaks
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and tools you use and keep your work area clean at all times
  • Observe and maintain all health and hygiene standards according to county guidelines
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in high volume or fine dining environment
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and standards
  • Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, which is accurate, complete, and of high quality
  • Actively practice food safety procedures
  • Organizational skills
  • Effective time management
  • Ability to lift large items up to 50 pounds & stand for long periods of time

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($24.00) plus tips
