The Polisher at KYU is essential in ensuring that all tableware, glassware, and utensils are impeccably clean and presentable. This role contributes to a polished front-of-house experience by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, which supports the overall restaurant operations and guest satisfaction. 

Responsibilities 

• Ensure all tableware, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned, polished, and free of spots or residues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of polishing and cleaning stations.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas, ensuring that all items are in proper place and ready for service.
• Work closely with the service team to ensure timely availability of clean and polished tableware.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and polishing tools, replenishing as needed.
• Follow all sanitation and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth restaurant operations during busy periods.
• Address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness and promptly resolve them.
• Uphold KYU’s service standards and values, contributing to a positive and memorable guest experience.
• Assist in training new team members on polishing and cleaning procedures as needed.

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in a cleaning or polishing role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Positive attitude and a professional demeanor.
• Experience with cleaning and polishing tools and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
