KA'TEEN IS HIRING FOR KEY PEOPLE! (KP - FOH Support)
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The KPs support the operations in several ways. The top priority of key people is running food. Second, they will also be circulating the dining room and assisting with bussing, cleanliness, table resets and all details!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Assists with guest request and server requests
- Running Food (When servers are present at the table, the server should take lead)
- Picks up debris and cleans any spills or grease on the floor
- Maintains overall cleanliness of the dining room. Checks chairs, banquettes, as well as underneath tables
- Operates as a member of the team, helping others and requesting help as needed.
- Resets tables according to the floor plan
- Helps clear tables with the assistance of a server
- Remarks tables corresponding to the server section you are obligated to
- Water service and maintenance
- Restocking of the server station with silverware, plate ware and glassware
- Crumbing of tables
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year in high-volume restaurant highly preferred.
- California Food Handlers certified.
- Problem solver: ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues aris
- Accountability: sets high expectations and achieves them regardless of the barrier
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and works well under pressure.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and late hours when necessary.
- Must have the ability to report to work on time and when schedule.
- Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to behave in a professional manner at all times.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
- Ability to be friendly, engaging, gracious, and the ability to focus and connect with all guests and team members and exceed their expectations.
- Know how to participate in a team environment and assist other departments when needed, providing lateral service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.
- Requires grasping, standing, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
