With founder Ari Weiswasser and Executive Bryant Minuche at the helm, we are excited to expand from one to two locations, bringing our dedication to creativity, seasonality, and community to a broader audience.
Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary Chef de Cuisine to lead the culinary team at Glen Ellen Star (Michelin Bib Gourmand 2014-2024), overseeing daily kitchen operations and menu innovation. This role is ideal for a chef passionate about local ingredients, refined techniques, and guest experience. You will work closely with Ari and Bryant to drive our culinary direction as we expand, maintaining the integrity and excellence of our brand.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a dedicated kitchen team, ensuring consistency and quality
- Collaborate on menu development, maintaining seasonal, inventive offerings
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory, food cost, and staff training
- Uphold high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and kitchen efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a high-caliber, chef-driven restaurant
- Expertise in seasonal, ingredient-focused cooking
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Benefits: $100,000/yr base + and additional $10,000/yr towards health insurance premiums + $7,500 in potential year end bonus based on food and labor metrics, 2 weeks PTO, opportunities for growth, and a supportive, collaborative environment.
