Job Overview:

The Bartender at Saba is responsible for providing outstanding beverage service to our guests, ensuring that each drink is prepared and served with precision and care. As a Bartender, you will follow established recipes and standards, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role does not require the creation of new cocktails, but rather focuses on consistency, efficiency, and a deep commitment to hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the bar.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to management.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned. 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic beverage preparation and service standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of service.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for extended periods, often for the entire shift.
• Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds.
• Reaching, bending, and stooping to perform tasks around the bar area.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of activity.
