Perched on the mezzanine of The Connector at Winthrop Center in Downtown Boston, The Vermilion Club is Chef John Fraser’s modern take on a classic chophouse. The space exudes a vibrant energy, making it the ideal destination for all occasions.  

Named after Dale Chihuly's masterpiece sculpture above our 55-foot bar, The Vermilion Club embodies a design-forward ethos.

Chef Fraser’s Mediterranean heritage and ingredient-obsessed approach to local and seasonal produce are focal points on the chophouse menu, elevating steakhouse classics that are both familiar and a step above. The versatile offerings feature dry-aged meats, whole fish, vegetable-forward entrées, and shellfish—with special attention to Northeastern favorites like lobster and clams. 

We are looking for a skilled Broil Cook that has experience in high volume steak cookery.

We are looking for people who can work well with a tight, harmonious team and want to be a part of something new and exciting! Seriously interested candidates must be passionate, organized, hard-working and self-motivated. Candidates must also have a strong desire to learn and grow in addition to strong communication skills and is a team player.

Experience with Steak, Fine Dining, and Raw Seafood is a huge plus and will be given priority in the hiring process.

Qualifications:

  • Food preparation, cooking, and food handling experience
  • Previous restaurant and kitchen experience
  • Culinary background with fine dining experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knife skills and meal preparation knowledge
  • Experience in menu planning is a plus
  • Familiarity with catering and serving is beneficial
  • Dietary department or dietary aide experience is advantageous

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $25.00)
