We are seeking a dynamic Chef/Restaurant Operator to join our team for an exciting new venture in downtown Tampa. This innovative concept will feature an event center, a sophisticated cocktail lounge alongside a high-end casual restaurant , offering an elevated culinary experience in a stylish and vibrant setting. As the chef and operator, you will play a key role in shaping the menu, building your team, curating the guest experience, and leading the operational strategy for this exciting new establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Development & Culinary Leadership: Create and curate an exceptional, seasonal menu that reflects the concept’s vision and the local community’s tastes. Lead the kitchen team in executing top-quality dishes, maintaining consistency, and ensuring high standards of food presentation and flavor.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of both the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring smooth service, optimal efficiency, and excellent guest satisfaction.
- Staff Management & Training: Lead, train, and mentor kitchen and service staff. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment while holding staff accountable for excellence in their roles.
- Financial Management: Manage food costs, inventory, and kitchen budgets, with a focus on profitability. Work with the management team to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost control measures.
- Collaboration with Bar & Beverage Team: Work closely with the cocktail lounge team to ensure that the food and beverage offerings are aligned, creating a seamless dining and drinking experience for guests.
- Brand Development: Be a key contributor to building and maintaining the restaurant's brand identity, working with the marketing team to promote the concept, build a loyal customer base, and ensure long-term success.
