Divino is a new Italian restaurant located in the heart of Glover Park, capturing the vibrant essence of Northern Italy’s culinary traditions. Led by seasoned restaurateurs, Divino offers a unique dining experience with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, house-made pasta, and wood-fired oven specialties. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items according to Divino’s recipes and standards
- Work with precision and speed on the line to maintain a smooth, efficient service
- Assist in daily prep work, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and setting up cooking stations
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure food safety practices are followed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet high-volume demands and quality standards
- Help with inventory checks, labeling, and proper food storage
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to support a farm-to-table experience for our guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant kitchen, preferably with Italian or high-volume dining
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques, kitchen safety, and food handling procedures
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- A team player with good communication skills
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
