Job Details
The AM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant. This role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency during morning operations.

Key Responsibilities:
o Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
o Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.
o Perform food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning meats.
o Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station throughout the shift.
o Ensure all food items are properly stored and labeled.
o Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
o Ensure proper cooking techniques and portion sizes are used.
o Address any food quality issues promptly.
o Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
o Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including regular cleaning of kitchen equipment and workstations.
o Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures.
o Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth kitchen operations.
o Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
o Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
o Monitor inventory levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages.
o Assist with inventory checks and stock ordering as needed.
o Minimize food waste and ensure proper storage of leftover ingredients.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as an AM line cook.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00)
