Boardwalk Bar & Arcade is hiring servers. Boardwalk Bar & Arcade brings a vibrant and easygoing drinking, dining, and entertainment experience to the Wharf. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced bartenders to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. We would love to add you to our team. Compensation includes hourly and tips.

START DATE: LATE FEBRUARY / EARLY MARCH

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Upselling
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Compensation: We pay our tipped hourly employees $10/HR plus tips in accordance with DC law. With tips our employees average in the $25-$30/HR range, if not higher. With the right experienced staff we only see this increasing! Full-time employees are eligible for Insurance (Health, Dental, and Vision) and 401K (with employer match).
