The Dinex Group, the restaurant group for Chef Daniel Boulud has a Pastry/Production opportunity at our Commissary Prep Kitchen based in downtown NYC.
The Pastry Cook is responsible for the production of French Pastries; including Eclairs, Meringues, whipped ganaches, pastry cream, Ice Cream, cakes, cookies, canneles, and professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.
This is a long term position for a dedicated individual who is looking for new challenges and future growth. Flexibility, positive attitude, and a desire to be part of an awesome team is a must.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment throughout the shift in accordance with Health Department and Dinex standards
- Maintain a high level of food quality and standards established by the Executive Chef
- Keep waste to a minimum and discard spoiled food products from the station in accordance with company procedures
- Produce all pastries for Epicerie Boulud retail stores
A culinary training degree is preferred but not required.

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00)
