Job Details
The Host position is a vital piece to the success of Sunny’s. This position acts as the first point of contact for guests and sets the tone for each experience. Furthermore, this position will be responsible for coordinating the seating plot for the service and setting up the service team for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate a passion for hospitality
- Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all guests
- Maintain the reservations book and handle incoming reservation requests
- Oversee and maintain the wait list
- Monitor and update table statuses throughout service
- Provide answers to guests questions regarding restaurant and menu information
- Uphold a high standard of cleanliness and personal appearance
- Provide constant communication to the management team regarding reservations
- Thoroughly complete setup and breakdown of each station
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 40+ lbs.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule per the needs of the business
