Job Details
Ozumo, one of San Francisco's top Japanese restaurants, is hiring a host to join our team. Qualified applicant must possess a minimum of one year experience working as a host in a fine dining, high volume restaurant. We are seeking a hospitality professional with a positive attitude, grace and a welcoming presence. Experience with OpenTable and Toast POS is required and a solid understanding of Japanese cuisine is preferred. Must be able to work evenings, from 3:30pm - 9:30pm and spend hours standing and walking guests to their tables. We are looking for someone who is skilled at planning the flow of service, allocating tables equitably and developing relationships with our guests. Our host is a valuable member of our team who participates in our tip pool and is compensated accordingly. Qualified applicants may apply in person between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.67) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $500

Benefits & Perks: Health Insurance, Wellness Program, Subsidized Health Insurance is available for full time employees (30 hours/week)

Now on the West Coast, he passionately pursues his goal of creating excellent food and ensuring the satisfaction of the restaurant's patrons.
