Job Summary
As an Expo you will help guide guests through the dining experience. We have high expectations for hard work and attention to detail. Qualities we look for in this position include a genuine interest in food and beverage, the desire to create memorable experiences for our guests, and dedication to hard work.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and standards of service
  • Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns
  • Communicate with other staff and management regarding the needs of guests
  • Complete all side work as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Support other servers and kitchen staff in duties as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Minimum of 1 year expo experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
  • Current California Food Handler’s and RBS certification required.
  • Excellent customer service and people skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
  • Ability to read menus, safety documents, etc.
  • Prior experience with POS systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of food trays and plates weighing up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to safely navigate a fast-paced environment, including frequent walking, bending, reaching, and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity required to handle and transport food items, utensils, and trays.
  • Ability to move swiftly between the kitchen and dining areas, including navigating stairs or ramps if applicable.
  • Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor environment with varying noise levels and temperature changes.
