Queen's English, #13 on Washingtonian Top 25, 4 year Michelin Bib Gourmand, #2 Top Restaurant Washington Post. Queen's English, a Cantonese style family-owned restaurant is hiring for a Full Time Lead Cook. Not familiar with Chinese Cuisine? We use French and Italian cooking techniques and will teach anyone with the right attitude and good work ethic.

Qualified candidate will be working alongside the chef-owner. Responsibilities includes but not limited to, helping to create specials and new dishes, managing, directing and executing daily prep list, working the line, expediting, complying and maintaining safety and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant.

We are a small group of highly dedicated individuals working together toward a common goal, which is to provide exceptional food and drinks paired with genuine hospitality to our guests. All candidates must be willing to commit one year of working at QE, any less need not apply.

Prior asian cooking experience not required, however basic kitchen fundamentals are a must. If you don't know what a brunoise or a 9 pan is, you need not apply.

*50-60 hour work week*
