Job Details:

We are currently looking for a motivated, passionate, and experienced Sous Chef for our BOH team at L'ardente.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:

Work with the Chef de Cuisine to produce diversified menus by the restaurant’s policy and vision
Inspire new dishes which appeal to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef whenever required
Discover talented chefs and train them to reach the high standards of the location
Train the auxiliary kitchen staff to provide the best results in minimum time and using the maximum available resources
Supervise, order, and maintain standards in the kitchen during working hours
Maintain purchasing, inventory, and food cost standards

Requirements:

1+ years minimum of experience as a sous chef
1+ years of management experience required
A passion for food and service
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Capability to teach and mentor others
Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Details $70-75 Plus Bonus
