Job Details:
We are currently looking for a motivated, passionate, and experienced Sous Chef for our BOH team at L'ardente.
Job tasks and responsibilities include:
- Work with the Chef de Cuisine to produce diversified menus by the restaurant’s policy and vision
- Inspire new dishes which appeal to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef whenever required
- Discover talented chefs and train them to reach the high standards of the location
- Train the auxiliary kitchen staff to provide the best results in minimum time and using the maximum available resources
- Supervise, order, and maintain standards in the kitchen during working hours
- Maintain purchasing, inventory, and food cost standards
Requirements:
- 1+ years minimum of experience as a sous chef
- 1+ years of management experience required
- A passion for food and service
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Capability to teach and mentor others
- Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Details $70-75 Plus Bonus
