Dickson's is looking for an experienced individual to take our kitchen team and prepared foods program into the future.  

Dickson's has been operating in Chelsea Market for 15 years with a gorgeous open kitchen, salumi bar and production facility. 

We are looking for candidates with creative vision, technical skill, and management capabilities.

Dickson's has an extensive valued-added food program consisting of deli, sandwiches, steaks, roast meats, BBQ, rotisserie, fermentation, condiments, vegetable sides, jerky, charcuterie, sausage, salads, catering, and private dinners. Our next chef will get to build on our established program but add their own perspective and passion. 

Candidate must have minimum 4 years experience in a management role (experienced exec sous chef or chef) at a high volume kitchen.  

This is a great position for anyone wanting to work with amazing proteins and ingredients outside of a traditional restaurant environment.  Lots of opportunity for growth.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Dickson's Farmstand is a neighborhood butcher shop & restaurant Chelsea Market offering artisanal meats and house-made charcuterie. Our beef, pork, lamb, and poultry are sourced from small, family farms in upstate New York that are carefully handpicked for their humanely-raised, high-quality animals. We proudly share with you the stories of our farmers and their practices.


Our charcuterie is made in-house by Chef & team. Honoring tradition and the values of our shop, we make all of our products from the same whole animals from which we cut our steaks and chops. We strive to use every part of every animal - from nose-to-tail. All of our meat is raised without added hormones, prophylactic antibiotics, or animal by-products - and is always 100% feedlot/CAFO free.

Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $120,000.00)
