Position: Front of House Team Member

Bart’s Bagels is a hybrid --- bagel bake house, smoked fish joint and neighborhood coffee shop that elevates the ordinary and raises the bar for Jewish comfort food in Philadelphia. We are seeking an awesome, reliable and hardworking individual to join our front of house team for our shop opening in South Philly!

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of our front of house team, you will be the face of Bart’s Bagels. You will be responsible for taking and preparing orders in a friendly manner along with other duties as assigned.

This is a customer facing role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills.

You will need to be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. You will need to be available to work weekends.

Full or part-time will be considered for the position. A full time schedule would require a schedule of Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues, 7:00AM-2:30PM daily. A part-time position would require a schedule of Fri/Sat/Sun, 7:00AM-2:30PM. 

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Greet customers
• Take and prepare orders
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (Square) for all transaction types
• Accurately record customer orders
• Handle cash and credit transactions
• Expo for all orders
• Coffee service (hot coffee and cold brew)
• Stock beverages
• Take weekly inventory
• Prep work
• Other tasks assigned by management

Compensation / Benefits: 

• $17-$20 per hour (Paid Weekly)
