Bathtub Gin is a high volume cocktail bar known for its live entertainment, innovative drinks, exceptional service, and lively atmosphere. We pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for our guests and fostering a dynamic team environment. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Floor Manager and Beverage Manager to help lead our bar operations and our beverage program.
Job Overview: The Bar Floor Manager and Beverage Manager will be 4 days a week and will oversee aspects of bar operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control, while also designing and curating an exceptional beverage program. This dual role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for cocktails, strong business acumen, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests, addressing concerns, and maintaining high service standards.
- Supervise and train bar staff, including bartenders and servers, ensuring adherence to service protocols and cocktail preparation standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies to maintain optimal bar operations.
- Manage daily shift operations, including staff schedules, workflow, and coverage during peak hours.
- Monitor the quality of beverages and service, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices and safe alcohol service.

Develop and curate an innovative beverage menu, including cocktails, wine, and beer selections, tailored to our brand and clientele.

Manage beverage costs and pricing to maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Create seasonal and specialty drink menus to enhance guest experience and drive sales.

Train staff on beverage knowledge, preparation techniques, and upselling strategies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a management and/or beverage manager role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($68,000.00 - $73,000.00)
