Having earned three stars in the New York Times as well as a star in the Michelin Guide, Café Boulud is both a destination and a neighborhood gem for casually elegant dining seasonal wine tasting dinners, Sunday brunch and intimate, private events.
We are seeking an experienced Sommelier who has a passion for hospitality to join the team! The ideal candidate is someone who exhibits a willingness to grow and learn, is knowledgeable about wine & spirits alongside French cuisine and above all, guest service!
The Sommelier is responsible for maintaining an international wine and beer list that meets the goals set by management and for ensuring that proper service of wine and beer is executed. This staff member conducts training of wait staff and keeps them up to date of all changes to the wine and beer list. The Sommelier also manages the beverage storeroom, verifies all alcoholic beverage delivery invoices, budgeting and performs weekly inventory.
The Sommelier should have the ability to naturally guide guests towards food & wine pairings to accentuate their dining experience. This position requires 2+ Years fine dining experience in a similar restaurant.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50 - $17.00) plus tips
