Job Details

Buddakan, the iconic NYC dining destination in the heart of the Meatpacking District, is seeking talented Line Cooks to join our kitchen team during an exciting new era — a creative collaboration with Chef Danny Bowien, the visionary behind Mission Chinese.

Join us in hosting a surreal dining experience where the serenity of Asia meets the flamboyance of 16th-century Paris. Ornate chandeliers, gilded details, and otherworldly art set the stage for an immersive culinary journey — one that will soon include collaborative dishes inspired by Chef Danny's bold and innovative spirit.

This position offers a comprehensive package including:

Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Line Cook in a well-rated restaurant
  • Availability for PM shifts and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) required 
  • Experience in Asian inspired restaurants is highly preferred
  • Understanding of classic sauces, cooking techniques, and knife cuts
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining quality standards of the restaurant in a high pace restaurant

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.50 - $25.00)
