JOB DESCRIPTION:
This Events Sous Chef is involved in all aspects of Quince & Co events, including food preparation, production and logistics. You will be implementing and/or co-writing event menus with the Chef de Cuisine, ordering ingredients for, coordinating staffing for prep and day of event as well allocating equipment and any materials needed for successful implementation. You will work with the Events Planning Team to tailor food, dietary restrictions, and style of service in accordance with the wishes of the guest. Between events, if necessary, you will assist the kitchen with service, prep and/or special projects.
Candidate must be well versed in Michelin level cuisine and currently be working as a Sous Chef, or be ready to take the next step. Applicant must have at least 3 years of experience in a fine dining background. Individual must be highly motivated, possess strong organizational skills and leadership qualities with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of restaurant personnel.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Available to work evenings and holidays
- Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly and safely
- Must be able to work in a stationary position for 8 hours (excluding breaks) at a time
- Must be able to move 50 pounds at time
- Must be able to comply with all health and safety standards
- Food Handler's Certification

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $90,000.00)
