Job Title: Brunch Bartender for Saturdays and Sundays.
Job Overview:
The Bartender is a key member of the hospitality team responsible for crafting and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This position requires a mix of customer interaction, drink preparation skills, and an understanding of bar operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take and process drink orders, providing recommendations when requested.
- Engage with customers to create a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Mix and garnish drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Handle and pour beverages responsibly, adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
- Menu Knowledge:
- Have a thorough understanding of the drink menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Stay informed about current beverage trends and recommend new and popular items.
- Cash Handling:
- Process customer payments, handle cash, and provide accurate change.
- Keep an organized cash drawer and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
- Bar Maintenance:
- Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and well-stocked.
- Wash glassware and utensils regularly.
- Monitor and replenish bar supplies, such as ice, napkins, and straws.
- Customer Relations:
- Build rapport with customers and encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Know regular customers by name and preferences.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure responsible serving of alcohol and comply with legal drinking age regulations.
- Maintain awareness of patrons' alcohol consumption and intervene when necessary.
- Collaboration with Staff:
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to maintain a cohesive and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, preparation methods, and presentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
- TIPS or similar certification is a plus.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($10.00) plus tips
