Join our passionate culinary team at a new Michelin-aspiring restaurant in the vibrant heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Under the guidance of our visionary chef-owner, we are dedicated to crafting an unforgettable dining experience, where every dish is a work of precision and artistry. NOW OPEN in Williamsburg, we are looking for talented Line Cooks to help us bring our culinary vision to life.

As a Line Cook, you will be a vital part of the kitchen team, responsible for executing dishes with precision, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen. Your skills and dedication will help create an efficient and creative kitchen environment while producing extraordinary food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Execution: Prepare and cook dishes according to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Station Management: Take ownership of your station, ensuring all mise en place is completed and maintained throughout service.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow cooks and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure consistency in portion sizes, presentation, and food quality according to recipes and standards.
  • Food Safety: Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adaptability: Be ready to assist in various kitchen tasks and adapt to changes in menu or pace during service.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen, preferably in fine dining or high-quality restaurants.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong grasp of cooking techniques, knife skills, and the ability to work multiple stations.
  • Work Ethic: Passionate about food with a strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
  • Punctuality & Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and maintains a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Open to feedback and continuous improvement, with a genuine interest in advancing your culinary skills.
