Currently, Cranes is looking for a Bartender with the following requirements and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, including classic and innovative creations.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the restaurant's menu and pair cocktails with dishes to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Ensure the bar area is well-stocked with quality spirits, liqueurs, and garnishes.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests at the bar, providing attentive and personalized service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to source unique ingredients and flavors for cocktail specials.
- Take orders and process payments accurately.
- Engage with guests, answer questions about beverages, and make recommendations.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior bartenders or barbacks.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience in a high-end restaurant or bar is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.
- Passion for Japanese and Spanish cuisine, with a willingness to learn and collaborate with the kitchen team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- TIPS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service is a plus.
- Must be of legal drinking age.
