Owned and operated by Master Sommelier Laura Maniec, we are a series of wine-centric restaurants focused on offering an approachable yet varied selection of wines from the classical to the esoteric. Whether you’re having a casual glass or indulging in a bottle, we have a menu built to pair seamlessly with wine.
Corkbuzz Chelsa Market is our second location, situated on the 15th Street side of the market, between Amy’s Bread and Mayhem Sandwiches. We’ve recently expanded with an additional bar on the west side of our established wall that faces the never-short lines for Los Tacos No. 1.
Our Chelsea Market location is currently open 7 days a week: 12-8pm on Sunday, 1-8pm Monday & Tuesday, 1-9pm Wednesday & Thursday, 12-10pm Friday & Saturday.
The ideal candidate will have a strong basic wine knowledge with solid bartending skills. Our wine list includes over 30 wines by the glass and over 150 wines by the bottle with about 6 different flight options. All of which rotate regularly. In addition, we have specialty cocktails, mocktails, beers, and cider.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Execute exceptional hospitality with a sense of purpose and urgency.
Ensure all guests and team members feel genuinely welcomed and fundamentally honored.
Help monitor and achieve company objectives in sales, service standards, and quality.
Communicate effectively and frequently with management, staff, and guests.
Ideal Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years of service experience, with preference given to candidates with wine and spirits knowledge through training and/or in practice.
Proven track record of dependability and a passion for hospitality.
TIPS or ServSafe certified preferable.
Ability to lift and move up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Proficiency in Google Suite and POS systems
