Two new high style projects in a historic Nomad hotel:


THE TUSK BAR is a cocktail and oyster bar with its next door restaurant sibling BRASS offering an elegant yet playful menu from Michelin-starred chefs Jeremiah Stone and Fabián von Hauske Valtierra (Wildair, Bar Contra).


Join us at The Tusk Bar (named a best bar in America by Esquire) for carefully made cocktails and seafood small plates; or at BRASS for a brasserie-inspired dinner reimagined for a new golden era of dining out in New York City.

Working under the the General Manager will have responsibilities that span the total scope of restaurant operations.  

We are looking for an exceptional leader at the mid point of their career with the highest of ambitions.  

We require demonstrated dedication to service, hospitality and excellence in every candidate that joins us. We ask that all our managers motivate and mentor staff, inspire and delight our guests, and commit themselves to excellence in food, wine and service.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Experience with new restaurant openings
  • Experience in HIGH volume environments, strong hospitality & service focus
  • Experience working closely with culinary management
  • Strong service background and proven success developing service teams
  • Experience operating high volume beverage programs; craft cocktail and advanced wine knowledge 
  • Proficiency with managing labor, daily sales reports 

  • Experience and success in project management; strong interpersonal skills and ability to bring people together
  • Ability to work flexible hours that meets the demands of the business

Requirements: 
- Strong hospitality & service focus.
- Proficiency in excel, word / Google Suite.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $85,000.00)
