Staff Accountant

As the Staff Accountant at 16 On Center HQ you are responsible for the preparation of financials and general administrative duties such as license renewals, email communications, or filing and organizing records. The Staff Accountant must lead with the best example of enthusiasm for our concept, history, customer appreciation, and co-worker interaction.  As a member of our finance team, we aim to bridge the gap between office and operations managers to create a sense of community.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Execute weekly budget vs. actual and ad-hoc reporting to assist store managers in meeting their financial targets

• Reconcile bank statements

• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements

• Complete and file monthly sales and other tax reporting for assigned companies

• Review expense reports

• Complete assigned ad-hoc tasks as needed

• Execute month-end close for assigned companies

• Keep and maintain clear records to assist in any audit requests

Skills

• Accounting and/or Finance degree a plus, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

• 2+ years experience within the hospitality business a plus but not required

• Restaurant 365 accounting system experience a plus

• Desire and capability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven, and deadline-driven environment

• Exemplary written and oral communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills

• A positive, upbeat attitude with a desire to meet/exceed all goals
